Important Shipping Update: DHL Suspends Deliveries to Canada
DHL Suspends Deliveries to Canada (June 2025)
As of June 18, 2025, DHL Express has temporarily suspended all shipping services to and from Canada due to ongoing union strikes and new Canadian legislation. That means I’m currently unable to ship studio SYG orders to Canada via DHL — but don’t panic, I’ve got backup plans. 💥
What’s Going On With DHL and Canada?
According to the official notice from DHL, their operations in Canada have been paused due to:
Ongoing strike actions by staff represented by the Unifor union
The introduction of Bill C-58, which limits DHL’s ability to use alternative solutions during labor disruptions
Because of this, DHL Express has stopped accepting all Canadian-bound and Canadian-origin shipments starting June 18, 2025, with full suspension effective June 20.
What This Means for Your Order (If You’re in Canada)
If you’re in Canada and planning to order from studio SYG, you still can. I’m working with alternative couriers to make sure you still get your jewelry — and yes, free international shipping still applies. 🚀
If you’re unsure about how to proceed, just shoot me a DM or email — I’ll make sure everything’s sorted.
SYG Doesn’t Stop for Strikes
Shipping delays might be out of my hands, but I’ll never let that stop your bold studio SYG pieces from reaching you. DHL might be on pause, but I’m not.
Jewelry for rebels, misfits, and rule-breakers? That’s still shipping — just taking a slightly different route.
I’ll Keep You Updated
There’s no set timeline for when DHL will resume service to Canada, but I’m keeping an eye on the situation. As soon as I know more, I’ll share updates here and on Instagram.
Thanks for sticking with me while this plays out. Your support means everything — and I’m doing everything I can to make sure nothing gets between you and your next favorite piece. 🖤
